Terms of Service
Last updated 17 September 2026
The short version
- The 7 day free trial is the only free thing. There are no free listings for signing up, and none for connecting a shop.
- A 7 day free trial of the Starter plan, our lowest tier, when offered on the site: an email address and a payment card are all that is needed to start it, no selling account has to be connected first, your card is attached at checkout, nothing is charged for 7 days, and the first monthly payment is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel first. We email you three days before it ends, with the date, the amount and how to cancel. Once per person.
- Monthly plans from £6.99. They renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.
- Your allowance resets each month. Unused listings do not roll over.
- Credits from an old pack still work. They never expire, and they are spent after each month's allowance.
This summary is here to be helpful and is not part of the contract. Where it differs from the terms below, the terms below apply.
These terms govern your use of Quiksel, a service that generates marketplace listings from your photos and notes and, with your permission, posts them to eBay on your behalf, and fills them into the listing forms of other shops for you to publish.
Quiksel is operated by Zak Howarth, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.
1. Who can use Quiksel
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place on your account.
Quiksel is offered to customers in the United Kingdom. It posts to eBay UK and fills the UK sites of the other shops it supports, prices in pounds sterling, and is not designed for use elsewhere.
2. What Quiksel does, and what it does not do
Quiksel drafts listings using artificial intelligence and publishes them to marketplaces that you connect. It acts on your instructions and on your behalf.
Quiksel is not a marketplace, not a reseller, and not a party to any sale you make. The contract of sale for anything you list is between you and your buyer. We do not hold your stock, handle your sales proceeds, or take a commission on what you sell.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the items you list, the accuracy of every listing you publish, and fulfilling any sale you make.
- You must comply with the rules and terms of each marketplace you connect, for example eBay's policies, and with all applicable laws.
- You must not use Quiksel to list illegal, counterfeit, stolen, recalled or otherwise prohibited items, and you must not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You grant us permission to process that content only so far as is necessary to provide the service to you, which includes sending it to the third parties named in our Privacy Policy.
4. AI-generated content
Listings are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes, including in titles, descriptions, prices, categories, brands, sizes and item specifics.
You are responsible for reviewing every draft before you publish it. We do not warrant that any generated listing is accurate, complete, lawful or suitable for a particular marketplace. A suggested price is a suggestion, not a valuation.
5. Your plan and your listings
Quiksel runs on a monthly plan. You pick a plan, it gives you an allowance of listings each month, and it renews automatically until you cancel it. Section 7 explains how to cancel.
- There are no free listings. Until 6 September 2026 a new account earned ten free listings by confirming its email address and connecting an eBay account. That offer has been withdrawn. Confirming your email address is still required — it is how we reach you — but it does not come with an allowance, and nor does connecting a shop. The 7 day free trial below is the only way to use Quiksel without paying.
- The 7 day free trial. Where the site offers it, the Starter plan
— our lowest tier — can be started on a 7 day free trial. Two things are
needed to start it and no more: a confirmed email address and a payment card. You do
not need a connected selling account, and you can connect eBay, Vinted, Depop or any
other shop during the trial or after it. A payment card is attached at checkout and
our payment processor, Stripe, makes a £0 authorisation against it to confirm
it is live; that is a check, not a payment, and no money leaves your account.
Nothing is charged on day one; the first monthly payment at the Starter price is
taken automatically when the 7 days end, and monthly after that, unless you cancel
before the trial ends. Three days before the trial ends we email you the date the first payment will
be taken, the amount, and a link to cancel. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. The trial is
offered once per person — recognised by the email address and by the card, so
an address or a card that has had a trial before will not get another, and deleting
an account does not reset it — is not available to returning subscribers, and
exists only on the Starter plan; other plans start billing from day one.
Apple offer the same free week on the Starter plan in the iPhone app, and it is the same one week: taking it there uses it up here, and we will not offer it to you again on this website. Apple decide who is eligible for their own offer against your Apple ID rather than against your Quiksel account, so a week you took here is one we stop advertising in the app, but it is not something Apple can be told about. - One listing is one draft. A listing comes off your allowance at the moment Quiksel generates a draft for you, whether or not you go on to publish it. If generation fails, it goes straight back.
- Your allowance resets each month and does not roll over. Whatever you have not used by the end of a billing period is gone, and the new period starts at the full allowance again. Unused listings are not carried forward and are not refunded.
- Credits from an old pack are honoured for ever. We no longer sell credit packs. Credits you bought before we stopped selling them stay on your account, do not expire, and are shown as their own line. When you list something, your monthly allowance is used first and those credits only after it has run out. That order is deliberate: the allowance expires at the end of the period and the credits never do.
- Listings and credits are not money. They are a licence to use the service, are not transferable between accounts, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money or resold.
- Closing your account gives up what is left. If you delete your account, the rest of that month's allowance and any unused credits are lost and are not refunded. If you subscribed on this website, deleting your account also cancels that subscription, so nothing is charged again. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the iPhone app, because only you can: see section 7.
6. Prices and payment
The plans and prices as at the date of these terms are:
| Plan | Listings a month | Price a month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 20 listings | £6.99 |
| Regular | 50 listings | £11.99 |
| Pro | 100 listings | £15.99 |
| Power | 200 listings | £20.99 |
Every plan includes the same features. The only difference is how many listings a month you get. All prices are in pounds sterling.
Your plan renews automatically. We take payment at the start of each monthly period, at the price you signed up at, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it. Your account shows the date it next renews, or the date it ends if you have cancelled.
The prices above are the prices on this website. In the iPhone app, prices are set by Apple in their own tiers and may differ slightly; the price shown in the App Store purchase sheet is the price you pay.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to subscriptions bought on this website. Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are sold to you by Apple as the merchant of record. Apple account for VAT on those sales whatever our own VAT position is, and it is included in the price Apple show you.
Where you buy matters. A subscription bought inside the iPhone app is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms. A subscription bought on this website is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details in either case. A subscription bought in one place cannot be changed or cancelled from the other.
We may change our prices. If we change the price of the plan you are on, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, so that you can cancel before the new price is charged. A change never affects credits you have already bought.
7. Cancelling, and your 14-day right
You can cancel at any time, and there is no fee for cancelling. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your plan carries on to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. You keep any credits from an old pack.
- If you subscribed on this website, sign in and choose Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's own page, where you can cancel or change plan.
- If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple hold the subscription, not us. Cancel it on your iPhone in Settings, your name, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you, and we cannot see your Apple account. Deleting your Quiksel account does not stop Apple charging you, so cancel with Apple first.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made at a distance, such as one made on a website or in an app.
Your plan is supplied as soon as you pay for it. Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you want it to start straight away, and to acknowledge that by doing so you lose the 14-day right to cancel that first payment once we have started supplying. The tick box is on the checkout screen, before payment, and it is never ticked for you. If you would rather keep the 14-day right in full, do not start a plan.
This affects the first payment only. It has nothing to do with cancelling the subscription so that it stops renewing, which you can do at any time as set out above.
In the iPhone app the same confirmation is shown before the App Store purchase sheet opens, and anything you have paid Apple goes through Apple's own refund process.
Nothing in this section affects your separate legal rights if the service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
8. Refunds
- App Store subscriptions. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are decided by Apple, not by us. If Apple refund a payment, the plan it paid for ends. We only take back listings you still have: if you have already used that month's allowance, it simply goes to zero and we do not pursue the difference.
- Website subscriptions. Contact us at support@quiksel.co.uk. Where we are at fault, or where the law gives you a right to a refund, you will get one. As a goodwill matter we will normally refund a payment in full if you ask within 14 days of it being taken and you have not used any of that period's allowance, even though section 7 means we are not obliged to.
- Part-used months are not refunded, except where the law requires it. If you cancel part way through a period, your plan runs to the end of that period rather than being refunded pro rata.
- Listings that have already been generated, and credits from an old pack that have already been spent, are not refundable except where the law requires it, because the cost of generating those listings has already been incurred.
9. Marketplace connections
Connecting a marketplace account authorises Quiksel to act on your behalf on that marketplace. You can withdraw that authorisation at any time from the marketplace's own account settings, or by deleting your Quiksel account, which erases the stored connection.
You remain solely responsible for complying with the terms of any marketplace you use through Quiksel. Marketplaces may change their rules, pricing or access at any time, which can change or remove Quiksel features without notice. We are not responsible for any action a marketplace takes against your account, including suspension or the removal of listings.
Quiksel is independent. eBay, Vinted, Depop, Facebook, Etsy and StockX are trademarks of their owners and are named only to say where a listing can go. None of them has endorsed Quiksel, and we are not affiliated with any of them. The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
9a. Shops without an API: filling their forms for you
Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, StockX and some other shops offer no way for an app to post for you. For those, Quiksel fills the shop's own listing form in a browser you are signed into: our browser extension on a computer, or the shop's page opened inside the Quiksel iPhone app. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what that involves.
- You publish. Quiksel fills the form and stops, and you check it and press the shop's own publish button. The one exception is Post it for me in the extension, which is off until you switch it on: with it on, you instruct us to press publish on your behalf once the form is complete, and the listing is yours as if you had pressed it yourself. It still stops if the shop asks you to confirm it is you, and it never presses publish twice for the same listing.
- The shop's rules are yours to follow. Each shop has its own terms, and some limit the use of tools that fill forms or read pages. You decide whether to use Quiksel with a shop and you are responsible for doing so within its terms. Section 9 applies: we are not responsible for any action a shop takes against your account.
- “Posted” is your own record. When you tell Quiksel you published, we record it, with the link the shop gave you if there was one. We cannot check it with the shop, and a listing you change or remove on the shop itself is not changed or removed by us.
- Views, likes and sales for those shops are read from your own pages on them, as the Privacy Policy explains, and are shown with the time they were last read. They are a guide rather than the shop's official figures. You can turn the automatic reading off in the extension.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep Quiksel running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features. Except for the rights the law gives you as a consumer, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Support is provided by email at support@quiksel.co.uk. We aim to reply within a few working days.
10a. Autopilot
Autopilot is switched off — on every new account, and for everyone. Nothing is published to a shop of yours until you have looked at it and sent it. If you do switch it on, Quiksel will write and publish listings to your connected marketplaces without showing them to you first, except where our safety checks hold an item back for you to look at. By switching it on you instruct us to publish on your behalf without your prior review, and the listings it produces are yours as if you had published them yourself. You can switch it off at any time in Account, and you can always end or change a listing on the marketplace itself.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost sales, lost income, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.
- We are not liable for losses arising from a listing published without your prior review, including one published by autopilot at your instruction, or from any act or omission of a marketplace or payment provider.
- Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Quiksel and delete your account at any time, without asking us. In the iPhone app, use Account → Delete account. On the website, use the Delete my account button in Account. Either one erases the account straight away rather than putting it in a queue, and cancels a subscription bought on this website. If you would rather we did it for you, email support@quiksel.co.uk and we will, within 30 days and usually far sooner.
Deletion is permanent and removes your listings, uploaded photos, encrypted marketplace connections, seller profile and activity history, as described in the Privacy Policy. Listings already published to a marketplace stay there and remain yours to manage.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misuses the service, or is used unlawfully. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will cancel your plan, refund the unused part of the period you have paid for, and refund any unused credits from an old pack.
If you delete your account and you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel with Apple first. We cannot do it for you, and Apple will keep charging you until you do.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The “last updated” date at the top always shows the current version.
If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Quiksel after that means you accept the change. If you do not accept it, you may cancel your plan and delete your account, and we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for and any unused credits from an old pack.
14. Complaints and disputes
If something has gone wrong, email support@quiksel.co.uk and we will acknowledge it within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. Complaints about how we handle your personal data are covered by section 8 of the Privacy Policy, including your right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
We do not belong to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, and we are not obliged to use one. If we cannot settle something between us, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133) and you keep every right you have to take the matter to court. Nothing in these terms takes that away.
15. General
- Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about your use of Quiksel.
- Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
- Transfer. We may transfer these terms to another business, and will tell you if we do. Your rights will not be reduced. You may not transfer your account to anyone else.
- Third parties. Other than as set out in section 16, nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
16. If you got Quiksel from the App Store
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple are not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple have no obligation to provide support for Quiksel. If you need help, contact us at the address below.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for the app itself. Beyond that, Apple have no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, costs or expenses are our responsibility rather than theirs.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claim that the app or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property, and for any claim about the app under product liability, consumer protection or similar law.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, including the terms of the marketplaces you connect.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
